Apart from the perfect alliteration, I have a couple questions and something that popped into my mind that needed to be posted before I went to sleep and forgot.
- Tags - There are 2 spots to add Tags when you make a new thread. Why 2? does one get higher priority in searches or is it something that just needs to be cleaned up? Also there is no limit stated for the Tags above the Message body but a limit of 5 below.
- Trackback - I read up on what the general purpose of this is but is it important that we find a special trackback url to use? What is the incentive of letting X site know what I used their post/info to write something over here? Even after my research I'm still not sure why the function is there other than to let the site admins see where they are on the internet.
I guess I'm just asking for a little clarification on this feature.
- Trading - When searching for an item being sold in d3gaming's trading forums a search function to only search currently active threads. Also the opposite to sift through completed trades to research price...etc
This would require some way to mark trading threads as completed or abandoned...locking them?
The below statement is true.
The above statement is false.
Sorry for the delayed response. Basically the added tag spots are simply for search engine purposes. More spaces, More Tags, Better Searchability.
Trackbacks are another design of search engine, they let Search engines know what and where things came from and build popularity and integrity of a users search.
