oh, you did a 2 exercise circuit, its one of the most mentally demanding workout. Once you get good at circuits, try to add more exercises in with no rest in between 50% strength.

Life is an art, your the artist, and the best paintings are ones filled with passion and emotions.
Meh listen to me, i became a gym buff after nerding out for years. Fuck all this P90X shit and get a gym membership and start a workout program called Billstar 5x5. Ive gained 20lbs of muscle in 4.5 months. Awesome strength gains too. Its not that im anything special its just I've done research and talked to people for months before diving into this.
Also killing yourself isn't the way to go. Of course you need to work hard but not overwork yourself. You'll give up after a couple weeks doing that... This routine revolves around the main compound lifts. The most efficient lifts possible. They are tough but 10x better then crappy exercises like push ups and arm curls.

Follow this program exactly bro. This is better advice then those people at the gym are going to tell you. I guaranteed you'll be way more beast then P90X. Put your faith in people who have years of experience in this shit and enjoy the results. Diet is SUPER important without diet don't even bother its useless working out. Trust me i know from experience. Eat 3500-4000 calorie/day and 150g-200g protein for the next 6-9months. I get most of my protein from chicken/steak/shakes. You'll probably gain 70% muscle 10% water weight 20% fat.
Then do a lot of cardio/lifting in summer, lower calories to 1800-2000(CLEAN CALORIES NO BULLSHIT), eat fuckloads of protein (200+g). High protein in your bloodstream will trick the body into burning fat and not dipping into your protein reserves(MUSCLE). Keeping your protein high while running/lifting will preserve muscle and burn fat you'll be happy. Remember you cant burn fat and gain muscle at the same time. Gaining muscle requires a calorie deficit, gaining muscle requires a calorie surplus. If you aren't seeing results its because you aren't eating enough.
P.S. Do your fucking squats, they are the backbone to this crazy muscle growth, they are essential for a good upper body too. Remember guys we have one life, one body, one chance to do it right. Its not good enough to do just some random routine. Follow some expert advice if you really want results, be patient.
