I hope so, but I am just doubtful because my computer will be four or more years old by the time D3 comes out. But I guess time will tell what the min and recommended system requirements will be.

Just built a new machine especially for D3 and GTA4. Fingers crossed it should run both on full:

2x 8800 Ultra's (upgrading to 3 when I can afford it)

Logitech wireless desktop (Mouse+Keyboard)
22" wide screen monitor

For years I've been scraping the barrel with my PC's..... but now the beast is born. A lot of hard earned cash and hours of build/configure time has gone into it, but it's worth it. I may be broke, I may have no food in the cupboards, nor clothes on my back but, but....... SHE'S ALIVE!!.... ALIVE!!!!!

They're cheap these days, so you might want to look into getting one. The only problem is that if you don't have an AM2 or AM2+ motherboard, you won't be able to run it. If I remember correctly, even though the Phenom chip is AM2+ compatible, it will fit just fine into a AM2 socket, but will run a bit slower. So if you already have an AM2 motherboard, you could get a Phenom and upgrade the motherboard when you save up. Both the processor and the motherboard together would take you down around $200 depending on which you take. The Phenom 9550, which runs at 2.2GHz per core, is $130 on Newegg.

Instead of X4 Phenom you can look into getting a X3 Phenom. It runs at similar speeds but is missing just one core. Since it's rare that you will be using all cores at once, a X3 would serve you well. The Phenom X3 8450 goes for $100 ($99.99 to be more precise). I believe the same socket business applies to the X3 like it does the X4. The Phenom X3 8450 runs at 2.1GHz per core.
