Battle.net 2.0 live!
So it seems that Battle.net has just received a new overhaul! It also seems that everything will be ported and used over a single "Battle.net account". This account will work like a Blizzard Account or a Steam Account, in which all your games will be stored and played under one identity.
Beta Opt-In Signups!
When you sign up for a new Battle.net account, you have the choice of opting in the new beta system. This means you would have a chance of participating in any open public beta that Blizzard has. So go sign up and have a chance to play in the Starcraft 2 beta!

The new website looks pretty sweet...although it's not [brand] new I especially like the idea of registering your games with them and downloading anywhere with internet connection even though my CDs are still in use after dozens of installations for LAN games and the such

Sounds pretty neat, so say I got Diablo 3 and where I would put my "username" I would put the e-mail I signed up with on Battle.net 2.0?
Once you buy D3 you will add your cdkey to your account (assuming you bought it from a store). I think they will sell the games from the website, if so it will most likely add the cdkey automatically. You then either install or download the game and use that account to login ingame.
Ahhh, ok thanks, I checked it out yesterday and put my WoW account on there and my Diablo II CDKeys, I get the concept now.
