Thread: Old D2 items

It would be nice, as items like the SoJ, for me atleast, brings back memories of early D2 and how much fun it was. Finding one of the old D2 items in my first few hours, or even first few days of playing D3 will remind me how much I love this series and probably put me into a mindset to play the game nonstop for the next year of my life.

I'd like to see the return of some items whether it's a similar item or just a nod to the series (wirt's leg as a sword or something)

I could see them doing something like a side quest where you go in search of some mythical sword (quest item) and end up finding a Grandfather sword or something :P

I'd like them to bring something like Enigma back.

Because we could all use a teleport skill. Heheheh.

I agree an "Easter egg" so to speak would definitely put my mind set on completing the game.

Easter egg items from previous Diablo games shouldn't be limited to Diablo 2, but should also include its predecessor. I would like to see an upgrade of Butcher's Cleaver if the Butcher will make a comeback.
