Thread: Diablo 3 Hardcore Confirmed

Good move by Blizzard, but I'm sure everyone expected it. With Hardcore mode the game life shoots up by at least 10 years.

Yeah HC is fun, except that if wont be as fun if theres only 4 people in the game. IMO the more people the better HC is. I really hope the game limit is 8

I would be disappointing if it wasn't 8, I hope the limit goes up to 12 instead of 8 tho, that would really make things interesting.

I agree. I just think from 1-4 players the difficulty increases 50% with each additional player, 5-9 the difficulty doubles with each additional player, and any additional player after that the difficulty increases 250%... This would allow for the opportunity for increased team play while at the same time discouraging having too many people in one game.

I also agree, parties are very important when playing HC. I am happy though that they will be including this in D3. I would be suprised if the party limits were less then 8, it just doesn't make sense to lower the amount of party members.

Never really played HC but I am definitely going to try it out this time around, looks like it will be a lot of fun.

I'm a big fan of HC. The only thing I'm not excited about is the lack of a reliable healing system.

the only reason i could see Blizz going to a 4 ppl per game would be to make the lvling system harder by not allowing ppl to do Chaos and Baal runs like in d2lod.
