Huh, D3 doesn't look like a slow paced game at all... Blizzard is building the game around 4-cap and from the gameplay videos it looks fine. I also think many people would agree that d2 was too easy and as a result it deteoriated the "fun" factor; unless of course, you find countless magicfind- tank-and-spank encounters fun...
I won't be playing HC at all. I played it on Diablo 2 and it's honestly not worth it for me. I got to 92 on HC on Diablo 2 but then died due to the Iron Maiden curse when I was doing a Diablo run. All the time and devotion down the drain.
It's much funner for me to have a normal character on Ladder (assuming there will be a Ladder). It's fun just playing the game, MFing, playing with friends, helping the newbies out.
With the content shown it's definitely leaning towards fact. Blizzard even said the game will be 4-cap (fact)... you can take Blizzard's word for what it is. The gameplay videos revealed that the classes in D3 are pretty uber, so I don't think the game will be slow paced at all (speculation).
Bottom line: Not everyone can be made happy.
-Karma: Iron Maiden can be pretty scary stuff. I managed to Altf4 in the middle of a zeal one time on my 88 kekek.

I really hope a skill similar to Iron Maiden never makes its way into Diablo 3.
My mistake was that I panicked. Instead of hitting Alt + F4 I hit Alt + F5 over and over again. By the time I realized my mistake I was dead.
I also blame the 6 people messaging me in the game and on MSN. My fingers would have been straight on with the Alt + F4 if I weren't typing at 90 words per minute trying to satisfy the chatting needs of 6 people.![]()
Well, hardcore is not meant for quitters ^_^
More prestige and satisfaction comes with a character on hardcore I believe.
When I die on hardcore I just start again with a new character and a new name. I think of it as a new beginning rather than the end of a character.
That my friend is the same perspective one ought to have in life. It's a very positive way of thinking to persevere through problems in life.
I just like the specing and dueling aspect of the game, Ladder has more dueling games vs hc tho, LLD was my favorite past time in diablo : )
Life is an art, your the artist, and the best paintings are ones filled with passion and emotions.
that would blow.. 4 player? lol
i hope they increase the multiplayer aspect. 4 players is pretty disappointing
