Thread: Do you think there will be a monthly fee for Diablo 3?

Blizzard would have to be stupid to put a monthly fee for D3...WoW is their cash cow and one of the reasons D2, SC, and WC3 are so big and still popular is because of the Battlenet

I dont think there will be a fee for d3 or sc2. Now if they make a Diablo/SC MMO someday there will be one.

i think there will be a Battle.net fee. Perhaps not for the game but for the network yes.

For example: Xbox Live.

No fee to play game. but to access live and gold options u gotta pay

Why would blizzard add a network fee this time around?

Yes, they are revising the battlenet and making improvements but that is so people can network easier in-game...giving people more of a reason to buy the game and use that to socialize.

It's a win-win situation with the battlenet if it's free...charging people will just discourage those with lower incomes [read: <18] to buy the game.

Hell to the no.....come on guys. I will be very dissapointed if there is ! Blizz knows what we what and expect and from what ive been reading its gonna be the same free stuff. Thats Diablos bread and butter.... what makes it so great. Im not saying I would'nt pay. But I would be disheartened if blizz made us wait this long for D3 and then pay for it.
