Thread: Diablo 3 Beta News???

not yet.. still kinda early in the game.. but you can bet i'll kill to get my hands on it.. lol

There are people who claim to have the beta for one reason or another.
The first one I found was in the D3G video section, Some guy with cancer in his eye or something?
Well, he's a faker, he uses his f3 key as an escape key, and all of his ideas are from WoW, and Wizard of Oz, and didn't ever use a mouse.
I think he just photo-shopped part of a wallpaper made by blizzard and copied it over onto a brand new image, ontop of part of the actual video and voila, A fake in-game menu :P
Everyone else has probably figured it out already but I'm just giving everyone the info.

On the topic of a beta release, you will not find a public beta until ATLEAST January 2009, if not later.
They always make the beta's Pay-to-Use, extra cash for Bliz, and makes people aware of the near-coming of D3!
(not meaning pay to use it 2 times then pay again, but pay to get the beta)

If thats the case, its gonna be a long wait for January. I guess I better start saving my money!

I have never done a beta, would the gear and items you collect in the beta, carry over to the final release??

probably not. although they might give u some kind of bonus incentive item.. blizz seems to do that a lot.

would love to have a chance to beta D3.
